Transforming Our Sub-Division: Bamenda I Council Passes Ambitious 1.47 Billion FCFA Programmed Budget for Fiscal Year 2026!
The Bamenda I Council is proud to announce to the general public and all residents of the sub-division that during its official Ordinary Budgetary Session held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, in the Council Chambers, the Council Board convened to vote and adopt its financial plan for the 2026 financial year.
Gathered in strict compliance with Sections 165–196 of Law No. 2019/024 of 24th December 2019 bearing on the General Code of Regional and Local Authorities, the Council passed Deliberation No. 01/12/DEL/B1C/BS/2025. Operating in programmed mode, the Council voted and adopted a balanced budget in revenue and expenditure totaling 1,473,264,558 FCFA (One billion four hundred and seventy-three million two hundred and sixty-four thousand five hundred and fifty-eight FCFA).
