At the Bamenda I Council, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of financial transparency and responsible governance for the benefit of our community.
We are pleased to announce that on April 7, 2022, the council held its Administrative Accounts Session to review and formally approve our financial performance for the 2021 fiscal year. The session, which took place in the Council Chambers, was led by the Mayor, Mr. Mbigha Njah Felix, and included the participation of councilors in accordance with the General Code of Regional and Local Authorities.
2021 Financial Overview

- Total Income: 519,372,332 FRS
- Total Expenditure: 472,588,521 FRS
- Total Surplus: 46,783,811 FRS
This adoption confirms that our financial operations for the year have been reviewed and approved by the councilors, ensuring that all resources are accounted for as we continue to work toward the development of our municipality.
